Allvivo Vascular, Inc. (AVI) develops biomimetic surface coatings for vascular devices.

AVI's proprietary technology represents a major advance in the design and function of coronary and vascular stent surfaces. It is the product of years of extensive research with polymer scientists and immunologists at the Universities of Utah and Uppsala (Sweden). AVI's first biomimetic stent coating targets the coronary stent market. Providing a promising alternative to the use of immuno-suppressive and cytotoxic drugs on stents, it is being prepared for human clinical trials to prevent thrombosis, inflammation, and restenosis.
